Aspen is the 9th painting in the pet portrait series. He is a sweet, Dudley Yellow Lab in his party hat. Dudley's have the distinct pink nose. My Lab, Moon has a "winter" nose. The nose has a pinker hue to it during the cold weather months.
Every animal is an individual. In these likeness paintings, without personally knowing each pet, I try to pick up on the individual characteristics that sets them apart from the rest.

Was given the painting of Aspen for my birthday and I couldn't have been happier, the painting looks so much like my boy, Barbara did a great job and will be buying from her again in the future.....if you want a great painting of your dog, get it from Barbara.
