Promoting my Etsy Shops

It's been a very busy time. I've extended the marketing of my design work to now include two shops on Etsy. Etsy is a great place to find many wonderful handcrafted products from a community of very talented indie artists.

I established two shops on Etsy. The first shop I opened in November '07 is dedicated mostly to the art pendants I create. The art pendant you see is one of my most recent pendants hot off the easel so to speak. I created this pendant by hand painting the art with acrylic directly on a bamboo wood tile. The second shop is devoted to the drawings and paintings I create. I love making the collectable ACEO's - artist trading cards which are mini pieces of art. These cute cards make for great conversation and collecting from your favorite artists. In addition to the art cards, you can find my artwork in the form of drawings and paintings. New Artwork Pendants on Etsy

I've started to add to the artwork pendants I offer. Using my original art, I reproduce a print and mount the art directly on a bamboo wood tile. The technique for mounting the work is decoupage. The artwork is sealed with either a high gloss or satin non-yellowing acid free artwork varnish/sealer to preserve the art.

As with the ceramic pendants, the bamboo tiles are light weight; you would almost forget your wearing a pendant necklace.
